Docusy
Portable iOS PDF scanner: Scan and manage your pdf documents and share them easily
#simple but significant
When Docusy was first developed, we thought of small business owners and students, particularly when studying at university, and saw that there was no quick way to share notes and book pages with friends.
Back then and even now, we saw that the dissemination of notes and legal documents provided hindrances that prevented people from finishing their work. For example, these people might not have a scanner or low phone camera quality.
We browsed various local and university libraries and found that these places were often full, making it hard to share books, let alone scan them. In addition, during the conception of our idea, ebooks were not fully available for every course for students. Finally, from an Appstore standpoint, we saw that many phone scanners had inaccessible UI/UX that was often plagued by many misplaced ads and did not have coherent layouts.
From a tech standpoint, these apps on the market often broke down past ten pages worth of scanning and did not utilize the full extent of the computer vision technology present in the market. That's when we came up with Docusy, a document scanning app that would be break-free with accessible and clean UI/UX.
